The idea of a Europe all brought to the Reformed religion in uniformity died at White Mountain. The population of Bohemian lands would suffer a catastrophic crash, as the Thirty Years War rolled over them. Ferdinand carried on his way to try and restore uniform religion over all his lands with the Edict of Restitution in 1629.
