Mark's Criticisms of Capitalism
Mark Twain was a critic of capitalism in the mid-nineteenth century. He felt that it was a violation of what he called our species being. The word ent fremdung is his germanic way of saying who we are, men to be free. We're meant to be artistic and communal were meant toa see ourselves in what we make and exult in it. But what happens in capitalism is all those things are undermined. I am now ripped away from my connection to nature. And so i got to overcome alienation. That's what leads to the to the revolution.
