The History of the DSA

The DSA has always been a pretty conservative relatively conservative organization in the sense that it really wants to keep attached to the Democratic Party and try to move it to the left. The Bernie Sanders campaign caused a huge wave of populist energy and interest and socialism whichwhich caused all the socialist parties including the DSA to just balloon in size. There was a big you know boisterous conversation within the DSA on how to build a new workers party but ever since that day we've just continued to run people as Democrats and Democratic primaries.
