Leaning Into the Promise

The times that we're living in right now, every one seems to be a caught in some way and in need of of some promise. I appreciate that mat in the sense of a remembering who it is that is listening. Andf if a sermon leans into it from that reality of distress and that reality of fear, then the promise becomes a as powerful a word as it was in the first century when they too were experiencing distress and needed a promise.
