How would you push back when a head of marketing wants to introduce the mql phase and focus on conversion rate? I would spend 48 hours trying to explain to them why this is a stupid idea. Then after I did that I would most likely start looking for another job because if they haven't already realized how fucking stupid it is then you don't want to work for them. way farther down the line if like you're at the beginning of this really what you have to focus on is like how do I communicate my perspective and then see what comes back, he says.
