What Is Biased Assimilation?
The first thing that happens is something called biased assimilation. You take on board information that you want, that suits you and reject information that doesn't fit the narrative that youare telling yourself or that you're trying to tell other people. And so giving people a whole bunch of unbiased information actually drives them further apart from each other.
