There was a moment, I'd say, about in the last 10 to 15 years where people fought whiskey and particularly rye are going to make a play in bourbon. Vodka on the other hand is playing the opposite game: We need to have more flavor in our booze. So they dilute it and they lower the proof by flavoring it to bring in primarily women, right? That's their great white whale.
