The Cost of Being in Leadership

I think when we look at leaders, especially if we're not in a leadership position ourselves, I've been in this place in my life where I've been a follower. To me, it's like, wow, that person or persons, they get all the privilege. And then stepping into leadership requires you to set aside elements of yourself. Maybe be a little less curated or careful with your words or how you show up because you're not just leading through the things you say, but also the things you do,. All of this sends a signal to people.
