The Importance of Humility

You know, I think sometimes we forget the humility aspect of the cross. It is at the cross where we admit to God and to ourselves that there is absolutely nothing we can do to earn or merit our salvation. The door of salvation is very, very low. We hold on to pride. When you think about it, why don't we apologize to our wife when we have an argument? It's ugly. A man will let his marriage break into and destroy his family and his kids rather than humble himself and apologize to them and to God.
