What Is Depleted Uranium?

Uranium has a density of about 18 thousand or 19 thousand kilograms per cubic meter. The densest elemnt we know of is called osmium. If you take a cubic meter of osmium, it weighs about 22 and a half tons. That's what depleted uranum is, and that's why it's used in tanks, enti tank shells and all that. It is not radioactive.
