How Did You Get Your First Roll?

I was very naive, like extremely sheltered, privileged naive in college. I didn't have any back up plan because i didn't realize the real world as a thing. It's dobly easier if you're already interning at a company and ou're doing good work - it's much easier to get into the interview process there. When i applied for my second role in germany, that was definitely a reality check. Many companies were not looking to invest in bringing a foreigner to the eu. That was pretty humblingm just applying for an interviewing for as many rolls as possible. And obviously the interview process is difficult, let alone doing one foreign it was all in english
