The Speed of Light in Different Mediums

The speed of light in vacuum is roughly 300 thousand kilometers per second. In air, but in different media, the speed of light is slower. The refractive index in water is higher. So it depends on the medium. But in the same medium, light has the same speed in every single direction. It's not a directional thing. I am not going to explain what entrope is without going into thermo dynomics.
