The Difference Between Socrates and Plato's Republic

In order to have your head screwed on properly in order to be someone of whom it's true that you always pursue what you really want. You have to know what you reallywant and then organize yourself around that goal. This is a view which becomes clearest in Plato's Republic. M.M. disagrees with this but I think both Socrates and Plato just reject it. And Aristotle does much better at explaining why we need the body than they do.
