The Goal of a Preacher Is to Leave With a Sensation of the Great Love of God
In ephesians three, paul is praying for believers to have a sense of the size of the love of christ. He doesn't know how to describe it but he can just tell us by its length and depth. When they see that, i know that when they see god, that's when their hearts ignite in passion back. For him, the only way that we develop the ability to say no to sin was to feel God's great love on our behalf.
