The Disinheritance of Atholwald Atholene
Atholwald Atholene was the eldest living son on the eldest surviving line of King Atholwolf of Wessex. Alfred disinherited him and his brother while they were still too young to even defend themselves before the Whitan. Edward compounded the injustice by denying Atholwald the throne yet again, instead taking it for himself at Kingston upon Thames.
