The Disadvantages of Boris Johnson's Statements on Party Gate
Boris Johnson gave more than three hours of evidence to the privileges committee. They are deciding whether he misled Parliament in his various statements about party gate over the years. The Bank of England put interest rates up to 4.25%, which is a lot, lot higher than the nearly zero percent that they were for very many years. So that gives us lots of interesting things to talk to the former leader of the Conservative Party, Ian Duncan Smith because he's here.
