The Early Archaic Period in Florida
The practices and life ways of florida in the early archaic age were remarkably consistent, even uniform. For instance, there are a number of sites that have been found where people buried their dead in boggy ponds. The wendover pond site is just by far the largest and the most preserved. But a few human artifacts and bones have been foun in other ponds that seem to have been intentionally buried there. So that practice was widespread all round the region.
