The Best Recipe for Quick Cinnamon Buns With Buttermilk Icing
Cinnamon buns are one of my absolute favorite dessert decadences. But I've mostly been put off by the recipes because they involve waiting and all this stuff. The great people from Cooks Illustrated, aka America's test kitchen, have devised a recipe for quick cinnamon buns with buttermilk icing. You just make a dough, you need it a little bit, you don't have to let it rise and you can cook it right away. It's pretty much foolproof - requires buttermilk. If you don't has buttermilk, you can make buttermilk with regular milk and lemon. And it's super good.
