The Politicians Don't Want You to Know, Right?

Politicians get off the hook here because they can convince you that Walmart has all of these profits and I can give you all this free stuff if only I tax them. Well, it turns out they don't have that much money. The politicians will do a similar thing with the rich. If we were to confiscate all of the wealth of all of the billionaires in the US, so forget about things like Elizabeth Warren's 2% tax on the billionaires. We'd be able to fund federal spending for less than eight months. It certainly wouldn't pay for free college for everybody.
