Cargo is now aware of compression ratios as well. If you try to decompress a dot crate file, which is really just a dot tar dot gc it ends up being more than 20 times larger than the input file than cargo will stop. Cargo added a mechanism to basically protect itself from zip bombs. It's an interesting case of a more flexible way to protect the what's like a normal like a basic Compression ratio for those text files.
