The Importance of Postgres in Database Technology
The way that people are using to use database databases these days is more like a repository than it used to be. If you're sitting behind an ORM and do most of the stuff in your application space, then it is probably a little bit easier. It was very hard to think to switch. You had to buy a hardware. So even under those circumstances, would you say start with Postgres until it becomes painful? I mean, I'd probably pick the one that made the most sense to me.
