CNN's John Defterios looks at how the US government is changing its approach to space exploration. He says it was a 'savy political move' for nassa to single out one project and not two or three. The more efficient you are, the fewer contracts you can give, he argues. And so we're seeing this with washington state senators trying to push through an authorization bill that would demand a second selection on the lunar lander.
