Glacier Collapsing in the Himalayas

Marmalada was not necessarily a glacier that we thought this would happen to. It's likely due to an extreme heat wave that's been hitting the alps. The classic glacial collapses are ar in antarctica, and often due to the water underneath helping create these ting events. This is something completely different. Its complete sections the ice that are not in contact with any water at all, just detaching.
