I'm enormously bothered as a biochemist by thinking about that. How is it that a gorilla or a cow or a rhino gets so big and strong? I have no clue. My understanding is a gorilla eats something like 50 or 60 pounds of food per day. So they have enormous capacity for eating a lot of food that we can't eat or digest very well. All of these kinds of drugs really worry me there. You're using a drug which will have multiple effects in the body, most of which have never been studied for really long term to basically mask a metabolic problem.
