The Callbacks to Tolkien

One of the things I noticed about the Jackson films that I really liked was the way that they would pay homage to Tolkien's original language. They give Gandalf's lines about AO and that he tells to Aomare, but they're in there verbatim from the text. Well, what I'm noticing with this is that we're getting callbacks not to Tolkien, but to Jackson. And I'm finding that a little disturbing. Mm-hmm. That they're writing lines that make you think of things from the Jackson films. Yes. There will be a lot of those. But they're not doing textual callbacks to Tolkien. They're doing textual callback
