Most satellites have two times of orbits which will be the satellite going around and around the earth usually coming over the same spot about every 90 minutes. On the other hand you have geostationary where the satellite is locked into one spot and follows that around the earth as the earth spins staying locked on and following that patch of dirt as it orbits.
