The Fear of Dying on a Boat
Danny's father once said he was not afraid to die if we were all together. Danny says that statement upset him because his mother got away lightly in the accident. The pair set off from Plymouth and sailed into a storm which lasted for four or five days. He recalls jumping back and forth on the sofa to try and kind of dodge waves.
