In a world where we expect immediacy and efficiency, i think there's both a lot of nuance this idea and the need for repeating the importance of actually doing the work. When you go to google and type in business hacks or professional hacks and search, what you will find are articles that give you supposed hacks to crush it with your start up or your career. Anything that is worth building is typically not hackable. People look to instagram, who sold after a year of existence for a billion dollars, as the norm and the expectation for building a company. We need to remember that is the exception.
