The Dangers of Decentralized Infrastructure

The whole stack has now been decentralized including ISP access and DNS access. All the things that a computer can do that you need to kind of put into various data centers in order for the Web to exist have I think all of them at this point have an analog with a higher degree of trust. There's nothing that doesn't yet have that lacks a central point of failure, so my sense is no matter how much you decentralized there's a point at which you're going to run up against one of the protocols at the bottom of this stack right or somebody has ultimate control over it.
