The Importance of Morphings in Machine Translation
Free word order languages are like Slavic languages. In these languages, the sentence order or the word order might change and then it might actually mean totally different things. If you have a metric that is very keen on the word order, then it may not be suitable for these free order languages. English doesn't have as many as morphologically rich languages do. So, in these languages, order of morphemes is very important. Especially in machine translation, this is more pronounced and more important.
