In scott's law, we have something quite unusual. A not proven verdict is considered a very unfortunate feature of the law in many ways. It means that they think the person is probably guilty, but there is insufficient evidence to prove it. And similarly with the chess world, you can get into a position now of this sort of looming atmosphere of suspicion. We want to play safe in the knowledge that an, no one's cheating. But how much do you need to feel that way hose how safe is safe in that sense?
