The Importance of Developing a Moral Response
I worry that some people take that and misconstrue it as, it's like just kind of privilege-y. Like, oh, this doesn't affect me, so I won't do anything about it. It is where we know that surely the people who are not affected by things should be doing loads of the work to counter them. And that's why I think most people don't who are in the positions where they could because they haven't actually developed a moral response. If I can't, what's my problem? How do I connect with that heart and then move forward in helping in the ways that I think I can?
