Using T Shirt Sizes for Team Building

The idea of story pointing is completely arbitrary in a good way. The whole point is just to do the task that's in front of you, and naturally the velocity will follow. We try to make points not about time, even really difficult, but more about effort. And so if you have super easy task, its coin to be a one pointer. Something that's going to require a little but more thought, maybe some exploration, might be your seven pointer. But over several weeks, you'll be able to get an idea for velocity,.
