Is China in Charge of the Numbers?

I understand China's motives are primarily business. A peaceful world is better for China if they can make money off of it than one that's at war. But I think, yeah, from a diplomatic point of view, if they become also like the geopolitical overseers of various deals, then who will be in charge? It's a numbers game. And if you, you know, if you own the house, the house always wins.
