When you're doing customer development, it's paramount that you're talking to people that are your customers. You can't just interview anyone. It needs to be people that have this problem. When you're doing usability testing, it's different. Anybody who operates a phone should be able to find that they don't have to be one of our customers, right? Alexa, what's your design? Kryptonite hearing you X UI. I will never accept that as a title. Can you relate to that? Why? I have an answer to that, but I want to know why you don't like it. To me, the two terms are completely separate things. UX is the experience
