What Do You Want of Me?
Lecan says that whenever a parent makes a demand, you never fully know what they desire. A child is always attempting really to understand what that desire is. Our own desire is always connected with what we think the other desires and how we fit into itas in a very beisic way. You can never get to someone's actual de ire, because their desire is functioning in exactly the same way.
