Introduction

The WWE Pro Wrestling Company finally found its buyer, as many of us suspected. Endeavor, which already owns the UFC, closed an all-stock and equity deal last night that values WWE at $9.3 billion. We'll get into whether that's a good price. Also on the Netflix front, I reported in my Puck newsletter this past week that the motion picture Academy is discussing adding a requirement for the 2024 Oscars That to be eligible for best picture, films must first play in theaters for at least a week in one theater in 15 to 20 of the top 50 markets in the US.
