PlanetScale's Hardware Planning
PlanetScale, at least early 2023, is all based in the big three hyperscalers or multiple other hyperscalers. We take full management ownership of the database and that's really a cloud dependency. I wouldn't do a kind of on-prem deployment of PlanetScale. Our stack is very cloud-native and needs a lot of the primitives that the cloud provides.
