Is Democracy the Best Form of Government?
I think thereis no question in my mind, that democracy is superior to alternative forms of authoritarian governments. Authoritarians don't like professionals because they are incorruptible. In most authoritarian regimes all the fights happen behind closed shades. And so i think it's a mistake to interpret the conflict that one sees in democracies as a sign of weakness. When you have demagogues come along, this is a sign that we have to reform,. and our systems are self correcting.
