The History of the Classical Greek Period

For the Greeks, learning and the study of the world around them was incredibly important. Western civilization, as we know it, would not exist without the contribution of these ancient Greeks. In Greek, a phylosophos meant a lover of wisdom. By the 5th century BC into the 4th century BC, Socrates, his student Plato, and his student Aristotle all revolutionized an expanded Greek philosophy.
