Is There One Kind of Education Everybody Needs?
This idea of lik we have unlimited opportunities. cannot it blinds people to the reality of their own individual natures, of their own giftings. Of a mind set almost seems oppressive in ar in our context. If you really want individuals to flourish, you want them to be self aware. And we're not. It doesn't seem like we're interested in cultivating that sort of self knowledge. i think furthers eliot's critique of education as an abstraction. He says that memory jod has of oxford was brought about by a happy combination of privilege and opportunity.
