The lithium and cobalt required for lithium batteries comes from where? China. 90 % of the reserves of lithium cobalt are in china. And there's a big mine, o lithium mine, in africa. So now we have to build more power plants that use natural gas,. which is a carbon fuel, to power these electrical vehicles. If the electrical vehicle catches fire, the fire department won't put it out because you can't use water. You have to use special chemicals, which the fire departments don't have.
