The Process of Ethnic Cleansing and Displacement
In the early 20th century, there was a Jewish population of less than 10%. So around 1917, when the Balfour Declaration was made, only around 10% of the population was Jewish. And so we have this systematic operation of ethnic cleansing and displacement to build a national homeland for one single part of the population. This is a process that was premeditated and planned from the 1930s, carried out in 1947 in 1948 with the view of bringing the British mandate to an end. It violates all of these ideals that we hold about property and non-aggression.
