Is Autonomic Nerve Disfunction Secondary to Diabetes?

Some people with disneropathic complications can have autonomic nerve disfunction secondary to long term typo dibetes. This is something that happens in a little bit more advanced stages and is a little bit less common compared to just plain old sensory the sensory nerves. So if you're coaching somebody who is trying to lift weights, for example, and they have some sensory noropathy in their feet, you may notice that they have some balance difficulties. If it's pretty severe and they have very marked difficulty with balance, that may, you know, make free weights in certain situations not the best option for that individual.
