When it was announced that he was going to give a speech there, faculty and grad students reacted with outrage. The university backed down and decided they weren't going to do the lecture this year. It's been quite striking to hear very liberal left professors saying, i recognize premof expression, but it's a value that's predominantly been exercised white man.
