How to Treat a Trache in an Emergency

The one that of those later complications, or I guess it could be earlier late, but that potentially we would need to act on sooner rather than later would be the tube coming out. That could be an emergency if the patient can't ventilate without it in. And this wasn't an awake trache done because of a bad obstruction at the level of the vocal cords. What I would recommend in that situation is treat it like somebody who's got respiratory failure. You would want to back mask them and then hopefully establish an airway from above.
