Restored Jerusalem as Far as the Broad Wall
Joida and Mishulam, the son of Asadiah, repaired the old gate. They laid its beams and set its doors, its bolts and its bars. And they restored Jerusalem as far as the Broad Wall. The Tekawites did not put their necks to the work of their Lord. Next to them were Melatiah, the Gibianite, and Jaydan, the Miramathite. After him was Niyamaiah who built opposite the sepulchres of David.
