How to Make a Magic Square of Magic Squares
Each entry on the magic square is itself a six by six magic square. And each of those sub magic squares has the additional property that if you add the central four by four numbers, you get the same total as the perimeter border numbers around the outside of the magic. So at one level, it's a seven by seven magic square. At another level, it’s a five by five Magic Square. If you want to make a big magic square, you can cheat and make a bunch of smaller magic squares and just stack them together. It's a cheating way of doing it.
