The Challenges Faced by the Nighttime Economy
Last year there were 5,000 reported cases of drinks biking. I find it very hard to debate against that. The criminals who are doing this need to be knowing that you're looking at a custodial sentence in my opinion. We have two huge battles on our hand. Clearly we've got a lot of debts. We're laden with debts. Football is dropping away. We are a luxury when you go for a pint or for a meal. So how do you think about these issues, making sure people are safe and enjoying themselves?
