We Don't Execute People All the Time, Isn't It?
Torture can be a way to obscure the inhumanity of execution, or gus kind of mass death as a social way of being. But if you can be like ya, but we don't torture people like that, then that feels kind of good. And yet, isn't it? An electric chair? Kind of more gruesome and insane when you think about it in the abstract, than iron maiden. It's pretty fuckang gruesome. We're still surrounded by death in these ways.
